    I am new to strength training.  When you say heavy and light weights how many pounds?

    Hey Julie…it really depends!  A lot of times we do try to give a range for women and men, as well as say what we as a trainer will be using.  The good thing about you being at home is you can easily switch between weights all you want 🙂  Since you are just starting out, you can invest in a set or two – maybe 5s and 10s…if you need to go lighter then 5s, you can always grab water bottles.

    At the beginning of each video they will specify the weight ranges for male and females.
