great advice re Bricks and legs feeling weird. also running with no music that really shocked me too as the music when you need motivation is so good. my advice get a go to "tune" in your head so when you are on that last 2 k stretch you got it to get you going. I had my kids singing keep on running on the last lap as I passed them. Although now Im rather partial to "this is my fight song" Awesome to keep going! Hey theres one for one of your classes! ;)
Oh one more tip SWIM open water before the day some tris are pool based but if you have an open water lake or sea do at least 5 before the day Its really freaky experience if you haven't done it before and nothing prepares you for the surge at the start we trained in groups of 5/10 just to get used to feet and arms in your face! Along with the drift I think on my first sprint I ended up swimming a good 100 metres more as I kept drifting off;) great feeling of accomplishment at the end though! Have to say your classes are great for try prep and honestly I sweat more in some of those than I ever have in any sprint try! Awesome!
