Welcome to my favorite workout of all time – I call it PRIME CLIMB… 2! The first Prime Climb workout was so wildly popular that I was compelled to bring you a sequel.
In this amazing 40 Minute Spin Class, we’re climbing with our legs timed to the beat of the music for pretty much 30 minutes straight. I know, I know, that sounds so hard, but that’s not how you should look at it. It’s an incredible accomplishment and you CAN do it.
In the first Prime Climb, we went from shorter, steeper hills, to longer, flatter hills. In this one we flip that – starting with longer, flatter hills, then ending with shorter, steeper grades. Life’s a climb, so let’s start trekking.
~Cat
P.S. If you missed the Original Prime Climb, you can see it here. You don’t have to have taken it to excel on this ride, but do try it soon if you have not. And if you’re not an All Access Pass holder (why not btw), you can download the original Prime Climb here.

When you go hard with your workouts all week long, it’s a good idea to give your body a break now and then. But we know how hard it can be to really skip a day, so this class is the best cycling recovery LISS workout. In it you’ll still burn some serious kCals, but you’ll also help your body heal by getting your blood flowing through those torched muscles. And… it’s also a great opportunity to work on your cycling technique, as Jess will guide you through some smooth (like butta!) transitions and light controlled pedal stroke motions, keeping it at low intensity (50-79% MHR) the entire hour. Skip the rest and let’s ride!

Do you ever wonder what our trainers do for their workouts? This ride, specially designed for our onDemand audience, is what Mike does when he wants to crush a workout on his own time. He invites you to come along and feel the joy of hard riding!

“Sometimes changing your body will change your mind. Sometimes you have to change your mind to change your body.”
~Cat Kom
What she means by that is that if you’re willing to get out of your comfort zone, you ARE going to change your body. Changing your body can, in turn, change how you think. It can change how you feel. But, often in order to take the steps necessary to change your body, you have to change your mind. Shift your attitude to understanding that it’s okay to be uncomfortable. That is how we grow. That is how we change.
Now go after this amazing Spinning class with Cat, which she breaks into 3 heart-charging periods, each a little different – all challenging, but doable. You got this.
