Are you ready to rock!?! Cat and Bethany sure are. That’s right, tag team training brings on the sweat in this rock-themed Spin class. From classic to current jams, feel yourself motivated to push into the sprints, and power into the climbs.
This is just a killer, good old-fashioned, fat melting Spinning class, with a few minutes of abs at the end. Rock on.
I, Cat, do Wednesday Workout at home each week, and this is one I made up one day and HAD to share with you, because I was soaked when it was over and my core felt jacked (in a good way). You can use either an indoor bike, your body, or a jump rope to play along. Just pick one. All we do is a quick warm up, then 8 rounds where we alternate between a creative core exercise and a cardio move. The most simple workouts are often the best. You’ll see. 🙂
Will this be easy? No. Will it be worth it? Yes. Can YOU do this? Yes.
Many are going to think that this class is too much for them because, well, it’s Cat leading, but guess what – Brian makes a guest appearance too! AND… the class is broken up into 3 song sets, so if you can just focus on getting through 3 songs at a time, you’re golden. And maybe for some you just do one 3 song set today, then tomorrow try 2, then maybe 3. It’s your ride, people.
Plus, the energy in this class, which was taken by about 150 awesome SWEATers around the world at the same time in a Studio SWEAT onDemand Live Streaming event, was off the hook! So ya gotta do it! With over 60 minutes of calorie crushing cardio, Cat has you jumping, shifting your weight to simulate hills (up and down), sprinting, and even pacing yourself with some fast endurance flats. SWEAT and a smile are eminent. YES!
Expect defined arms and a beautiful back if you put this one on repeat my friends. Just over 15 minutes dedicated to the biceps, triceps, shoulders, and back in such a way that even Cat was challenged to the core (literally). Grab some heavy dumbbells and let’s carve it up.
Welcome to my favorite workout of all time – I call it PRIME CLIMB… 2! The first Prime Climb workout was so wildly popular that I was compelled to bring you a sequel.
In this amazing 40 Minute Spin Class, we’re climbing with our legs timed to the beat of the music for pretty much 30 minutes straight. I know, I know, that sounds so hard, but that’s not how you should look at it. It’s an incredible accomplishment and you CAN do it.
In the first Prime Climb, we went from shorter, steeper hills, to longer, flatter hills. In this one we flip that – starting with longer, flatter hills, then ending with shorter, steeper grades. Life’s a climb, so let’s start trekking.
P.S. If you missed the Original Prime Climb, you can see it here. You don’t have to have taken it to excel on this ride, but do try it soon if you have not. And if you’re not an All Access Pass holder (why not btw), you can download the original Prime Climb here.
What’s better, cardio or strength training? That’s always the question up for debate. Well, I have news for you. They’re both incredibly important! That’s exactly why this full body Spin Sculpt class with Studio SWEAT’s rock-star trainer, Cat Kom, is the perfect workout for you!
Expect the cycling portions of the class to melt away fat, test your limits, and build your base. Expect the strength segments to not only tone the arms, core, and legs, but to also keep the calorie crushing in full effect as it’s masterfully laid out to never let your heart rate fall out of the fat burning zone. Go get it!
From the abs to the glutes, your core is going to get a solid once over in this amazing quick TRX workout, which you can load up when you’re wanting to flatten that belly for beach day or date night. It’s great to do stand alone, or as an add-on to any other workout. One round will take you about 6 minutes, or you can do it twice with us if you have 12. Enjoy the burn!
Either grab a Jump Rope or hop on a Spinning bike and get ready to break a sweat, burns some KCALS, and firm up that core, all in just over 20 minutes. If you choose the jump rope for your cardio, skip along with Brian! If you want to ride instead, just follow Cat. Either way, you’re gonna get it done and have some fun.
Simple is exceptional in this perfectly paced Bootcamp workout, designed for anyone to be able to do in a small amount of space, and with minimal equipment. You just need 1 or 2 sets of dumbbells.
You’ll do a compound or combo exercise, which you then break into its individual elements, so you can get a little extra isolation for each major muscle group. You’ve got 8 sets of these, ladies and gents. It’s as simple (BUT NOT EASY) as that. Oh, and maybe one little twist, but nothing you can’t handle. Get to it, team!
Stand tall ladies and gents, because this awesome TRX workout focuses on posture. We work on strengthening not only the back, but the shoulders, core, and glutes as well. All are important components when it comes to good posture.
We’ll finish up with a stretch using TRX straps as well. The stretch is as important as any of the other parts of this workout, as we lengthen those muscles you just worked hard, so do NOT cut out early or you might look like Quasimodo! Proud chest – shoulders back and down. Let’s go.
The most popular class at Studio SWEAT is Spin Sculpt. We couple together a full body workout with crankin’ cardio to get it all done at once. It’s awesome. For this one, we have 2 floor sets, each with 8 exercises performed in 5 rep increments, so all you have to think about is 5 at a time. That said, challenge those limits with your pace and weight selection. If you don’t have weights, grab something to double as dumbbells. That’s cool too.
There are also 2 unique Spinning drills that keep your heart rate in the high end of your fat burning zone, so expect high calorie burn. The first is a game called bump, and the second is a killer interval set. Enough talk, let’s go get our sweat on!
11 world famous Studio SWEAT instructors, saddled with 11 unique coaching styles, will motivate you through a calorie-crushing, full-length (plus some) Spinning Class. Anyone can take this class, just pace yourself and take it one pedal stroke at a time, and I guarantee you’ll enjoy the ride.
